The Oscar predictions so huge that they have to be broken into two pieces! Two for the price of one! Whatever you want to call it, this is part two of the 2005 Oscar preview better know as the what the hell are these categories. Ok enough procrastinating. I’d better get these Oscar comments posted before the show is over and my prognosticating is irrelevant. In general I just don’t think that this year was as strong as last year. Ok, well maybe if you are not up for an award or receiving an eighteen thousand dollar gift basket to present an award this time of year is an endless parade of the privileged that gives them the opportunity [Read More …] So I didn’t do to well on my Oscar picks this year. The strange thing is, I’m very happy about it. Instead of second guessing itself and the motives behind each pick, or at least most of them, this year the Academy voters picked the best nominee in most categories. As I have said many times before, predicting any awards show can be hit or miss. All things considered I don’t think I did too badly.
