This [Read More …] Azumi is exactly what I would expect seeing in a Japanese action movie. Though it was billed as an action opera, I’m not sure I see the operatic in this film. Kitamura presents a stylized swordplay film complete with quirky characters, strange humor, and lots and lots of gore. There were some unnecessarily artistic elements [Read More …] The Haunted Mansion was a fine family adventure film based on the theme park ride of the same name from the Disney theme parks, and if that was all that the film was expected to be it would have been fine and good and the review could proceed accordingly.
